The photo was taken in near total darkness.
I looked out the window and saw a mysterious bright light emanating from the sea.
It turned out that the Moon was shining through a gap in the heavy clouds, but was otherwise not seen.
I added the dark vignetting to emphasize the darkness and draw the viewer´s eyes to the ray of hope.
