VU7AG a team on Indian radio amateurs is now active from Agatti Island in the Laccadives (Lakshadweep islands).
It certainly looks like a nice place to visit and WOW what a location for 160 Meters.
I was sitting at my radio when they came on 160 Meters with a tremendous signal. I understand that they have built a proper top loaded transmit vertical and what a difference from what I had heard from them before.
I still can hardly believe that I got through so quickly, this was truly magical. A testament to the power of the Arctic King.

Thank you for my country worked #201.
A few hours later I heard them on 40M and in less than 2 minutes they were in the log…They appear to hear really well, although having a full size Rhombic into their direction may have helped
Their online log confirms both contacts.
